  What a glorious morning we are having here today. The sunshine is wonderful even though it is a bit chilly today. Isn’t it amazing how we have so much more energy on days when the sun is out! I’m full of vim and vigor as my Grandmother used to say.                                                             I took some pics of the ladies this morning to share with you. Ruby decided to pose in this delightful fashion for you all. She thinks she is the queen bee or should I say queen chicken! ha ha   Actually I think all my ladies are quite stunning.   And they give me such delicious eggs.   Not much planned for today. I hope to get my walk in at some point.    I try to do 2 miles every day, got to keep those joints working. Maybe some yard work will get done also. Doesn’t seem like there is always yard work to do? Ah well, busy hands make a cheerful heart. I'm looking forward to planting my flowers and garden plants. Only about 2 more weeks and we should be free from a

                                                                                       Hello friends. Another day in the neighborhood.  My thoughts are on spring already. I know we have a long time until it gets here but I don't think it hurts to dream about it. I'm dreaming about a quiet picnic in the country. Doesn't that sound wonderful? A basket filled with some good sharp cheese, a baguette of french bread, and some beautiful ripe peaches. Oh, my! My mouth is watering just thinking about it. I think I'll keep my mind occuppied with those thoughts instead of what's happening in the world today. I've been keeping myself busy with my crocheting. I'd like to have about fifty dishrags done by the time the farmers market opens here in June. I don't think that will be a problem. I have also been doing some housework that is long overdue getting done. Fun things like cleaning my hallway- just as much  fun and exhilarating as you can imagine - and washing
